Fellow Indianapolis Chapter Members,
I am thrilled to begin my service to you as the 2022-2023 Chapter President. These past couple of years have presented us with challenges to meeting and networking. And while the leadership of this chapter has navigated the world of remote meetings and learning beautifully, we are very excited to be moving back to face-to-face meetings and networking events this year. The board kicked off our 2021-2022 year with a great in-person happy hour mingle to being discussions on the types of events that would provide the most value and be of the most interest to our local CMAs and aspiring CMAs; and we can’t wait to share the schedule with for the coming year.
We’d love to hear from you on how we can best support you professionally. Please share any thoughts you have regarding additional events and services your Board can provide. If you would like to be of service to our local IMA Chapter, it's never too late to join in on the monthly chapter board meetings. Members interested in making an impact, big or small, within the local Finance/Accounting community are encouraged to join our team of leaders. It is a great starting point for anyone interested in serving the IMA locally, regionally and even on a global basis. There are plenty of volunteer activities chapter members can participate in. If you are interested in volunteering on special projects or serving on the board, please either attend a board meeting or email us at IndianapolisIMA@gmail.com.
